When a lab needs your expertise — rating model answers in your field, writing the hard cases, checking the model's work against reality — you get matched to paid contract projects. Mercor says it pays its expert bench more than $1.5M every day (the company's own figure). Mercor pays experts via Stripe or Wise, per the terms of each project you accept.
